I own suppressors. I use them for target practice and hunting. When hunting you want to be able to hear what’s going on around you so that you can hear the wildlife as well as any humans crashing through the woods. I don’t want to reduce my ability to hear yet I don’t want to blow out my eardrums. A suppressor is a good tool for this. Besides, it ain’t like the movies where it makes your gun silent. There is still a loud crack as the bullet breaks the sound barrier. It reduces the sound created by the expanding gases from the cartridge going off and brings it down to a level safe for your ears.
It's a bill of rights not a bill of needs. You're thoughtless, moralistic discretionary ramblings on what your fellow Americans do and don't "need" are not welcome.
