There is so much truth in God's word, how our lives would greatly improve if we'd just stop and listen. Take the name of Jesus with you child of sorrow and of woe🙏, an old hymn rightly said.
I believe the spiritual application of having a physical altar means you're creating a space for him to dwell. Of course having an altar I feel is a good thing. It also serves as a reminder everytime you see it.
