I relate SOOOOOOO much to Megans story..😢… Have the same experience about religion, except my brainwashing came from the southern baptist church……. and the fear that comes when u decide to look for real truth can be paralyzing ,regarding Hell. I was shunned by all the people that i had worshiped "God" with for over 30 dam yrs…… simply bc i started asking questions about all the contradictory CRAP in that book they base their existence on…. its a hard prison to escape from. Im free now and have more peace than i ever thought i cld have…Because i challenged what i had been taught from birth! Its a hard road but totally worth traveling down…

Ok. So I herd the Romans 9 debacle. It is pretty simple to explain. We have to Keep one thing in mind, The Bible is written by men and it is man's account of his relationship to God, not the other way around!
While the Bible is God's inspired word, it is written for us to be able to understand it. This is the first thing that any Christian should understand is that you probably won't understand all of God's word. Isaiah makes this very clear in Isaiah 55:8-9.
To understand one thing, when Paul says HATE , it isn't a hate like humans have hate. It isn't out of bitterness, or envy, or ego. The hate that Paul is referring to is more comparable to an allergic reaction. This is what it is referring to when God claimed he would love Jacob but hate Esau.
There is wicked in all our hearts. Everyone! However, some of us choose to battle our wickedness, while others tend to embrace their wickedness. This is what Jesus means when he say separating the wheat from the chaff. The spirit of Esau is pretty much secular communism! Responsible for the most genocide and democide in the world! It is an infection!
This is why God " Hated" Esau.
