the main reason people don't like his style is because they don't agree with having a game plan to go to decision in the first place. in many people's eyes you should not be okay just going to decision. a decision should only happen when two fighters tried to finish one another and couldn't, like in cerrone v. Lawler. but hey, if you want to point fight that's fine too
It's funny seeing people try to defend that fight and act like they liked it. The fight was boring. Stop lying and pretending that you were entertained. If every fight was like that you would never buy a PPV.

Ask yourself this… if you had to fight Demian Maia? Would your game plan be exactly like Woodley's. Of course it would.
Maia proves the problems that come with being one-dimensional in a multi dimensional universe. He couldn't take Woodley down, and he had no other answer. Woodley fought a smart fight. I've never liked Maia. The time for specialists is over. It's not good enough anymore.
