Well technically a fertilized egg is more likely to become dead cells then it is to become a baby if completely untouched and not interfered with. The numbers I can find online approximately 40% become a baby. So it's a losing coin toss generally. And keep in mind that's technically with interference, POSTIVE growth interference such as C-sections which save babies from generally unfavorable circumstances.
