  1. 9:19 I like that Jon Ronson is good-natured about this, but with all due respect to Joe Rogan, I think he's too soft on Alex Jones. I think AJ bit off more than he could chew with the Sandy Hook thing because he's so used to just letting crazy stuff fly right out of his mouth without having to face any direct accountability or consequences. Judging by how easily Ronson and co. snuck into the Grove, plus with how old the members/attendees are, my conclusion is that the members stopped caring about people sneaking in a long time ago because they enjoy the company. Then AJ screwed the pooch by smearing the Cremation of Care as a Luciferian-Satanic ritual by globalists.

You can all think what you want, but the ritual is just a mock pagan ritual. Why? The attendees have been largely, if not entirely, Protestant, and the Grove became owned by wealthy men many decades ago. The club members are all old, rich men who live stressful lives who desperately want some semblance, no matter how temporary, to their glory days in college/university. The perfect way for them to stick it to the Man is a mock pagan ritual.

PBD and many others need to have Ronson on their podcasts as a guests because the reality is that Alex Jones, David Icke, Mark "Dice" Shouldice, and so many others peddle conspiracies because that's what generates revenue, and the conspiracies are far more comforting than the truth: there are no shadowy elites controlling society from a tiny room because the world is controlled by the market. Even the more well-meaning guys like Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, et al will still peddle a facsimile of Jones's conspiracies because that's what generates revenue.
