the gloves make no difference to power…just watched a video on this with an MMA fighter using both gloves and bare fist..bare fist was the biggest power per square inch..the 4oz 8oz was negligible because of the tape boxers wear under the glove.

If McGregor wins he wont become the biggest sports star ever LMAO. You think the little kids in favelas in Rio De Janeiro know who McGregor is? Probably very few. But all them know about Messi, Ronaldo, Usain Bolt etc. because these guys are icons and transcend the game. McGregor still has a way to go before he reaches icon status, although he could attain it one day if he keeps moving forward.
