UBI would need to support a system of Universal Merit Based Income (UMBI), a concept I invented, that rewards people to maintain and develop skills for additional disposable income that acknowledges the inherent differences in skills between humans. It also protects society from devolving into an "idiocracy" fully reliant on AI which might get wiped out by a random solar flare event. Which means if the computers stop, civilization could still operate because society would have protected and rewarded its talented individuals.
Looking into UBI they seem to only qualify people who are already receiving housing vouchers, Medicaid, cash assistance, food stamps & utility assistance. Everything is (already paid for.) Some of these folks even get paid personal deliveries & transportation for necessities. Paid for by OUR TAXES on our income FOR WHICH WE WORK. So I’m confused about how giving these folks an extra grand a month EXTRA OF OUR INCOME FOR WHICH WE WORK is going to change anything. Other than cause socialism.
Robots 🤖 would have to pay our taxes for UBI to function the way it should.. Digital currencies under government control will eradicate criminology.
Some poor people in the US live better than kings in the middle ages.😀
It's a VAT tax on the megacorps. ubi needs to happen.
