Joe was a prick during this. Seems like he was tired and in a bad mood. Didn't match Eric's energy at all.

1:13:03 I often see comments of the form "When is Eric going to respond to Timothy Nguyen's critique?"
These will commonly appear under any video that Eric makes an appearance in which concerns the topic of mathematical physics. Those responsible for these comments are presumably unaware that Eric had already responded to Timothy Nguyen's critique in this episode of The Joe Rogan Experience at this timestamp. This episode was originally made available on Spotify on April 2nd 2021 about five weeks after the mathematician Timothy Nguyen and the theoretical physicist Theo Polya published their response to his April 2020 upload of his May 2013 Oxford University special Simonyi lecture.
Professor Marcus du Sautoy had invited Eric Weinstein to give a lecture on his speculative ideas for Geometric Unity a work in progress 'program' that aspires to become a Unified Field Theory which would replace General Relativity with something less restrictive that would allow for a more elaborate and symmetrical Quantum Field Theory. The hope being that this would correctly predict additional matter manifesting Fermionic Field content, which would include candidates for the mysterious and elusive hypothetical Dark Matter – without recourse to needing spacetime Supersymmetry.

Eric Weinstein In one year. I've seen one actual critique.
Joe Rogan Is that because you haven't looked for other ones?
Eric Weinstein Nope. I think two guys. I think it's two guys. One of them
is anonymous, and I refuse to deal with an anonymous coward who
critiques me, came up with three basic criticisms, and they'll have more
because they'll be errors in this. But two of the criticisms are inferential.
They imagine that I'm doing something that I'm not doing. One of the
criticisms is valid, but that I would have brought up anyway…
So, contrary to popular opinion Eric promptly responded to Timothy Nguyen's concerns, and for those frustrated that this doesn't go into much detail, Eric said more when asked about it on Clubhouse, and here is a transcript of the relevant excerpt from a recording that was made on the 16th May 2021:
Eric Weinstein So with all due respect, these people guessed that I was
having a Chiral theory. It is not a Chiral theory, so they are talking about
Chiral anomalies because they didn't wait to hear what I was going to say.
They asserted that I was going to bring spacetime Supersymmetry in 14
dimensions. They tried to cast aspersions on the fact there's non compact
groups involved which come naturally from Spin(1, 3)… and this isn't very
high quality critique.
