i am Arabe and job story mentioned many times in the Qoran and until today understood the whole story. Holy Qoran said '''''''''''''''41. And mention Our servant Job, when he called out to his Lord, “Satan has afflicted me with hardship and pain.”

Prophet Mohammed Said '''If God loves a servant, He afflicts him,and The most severely tested people are the prophets, then the righteous, then the next best, then the next best.
Now I know how Job felt when he was being tested by Satan. Because as of now I've found out that one of my cousins has been tested positive for COVID-19. And when I found out, I was speechless and upset. And now I know, I at times feel like my patience being tested. And I feel angry as well. But my mom encourages me to remain faithful regardless of what happens and not give up on God. And even my church minister Rev. Charles Jacob encourages me to do the same and hold onto my Holy Rosary. Now my sincere hope is that my cousin will make a fully recovery. And I vividly remember these beautiful words that Saint Fautina wrote, "Jesus, I trust in you."
Pathetic. That “god” would do this just to prove a point… sounds like a story written by lazy old men.
I see where this story is amazing in the way Jobs faith holds strong but why is no one talking about the fact that "God" is playing with this man to prove the devil wrong. That doesn't seem like God to me. We mistakingly mark many of the stories of the Bible as acts of God but in reality they are stories of the Elohim. The powerful ones. Something or someone that has to prove someone wrong is not the almighty Yahweh.
