Honestly i find it kinda ironic satan talked God into proving something to him. Why would God gave to prove anything to Satan? It just sounds like Satan may have tricked God into tormenting one of his most loyal follower and thus possibly driving his follwer away
God gives everyone free will and never forced anyone to do anything. He wants to see what we are going to do in the situations we are in.
If you ask what’s the point in all of this…The promise of salvation and eternal life in heaven with God is worth it to me. If other people believe their beliefs so can I.
