The part nobody talks about is that the night before Louis got cancelled he told Stephen Colbert on his show that he reminds him of an alien who is pretending to be human
"People have to figure out some way to interface with each other 100% of the time as equal and just work on your own bullshit."
Maybe context from everything else doesn't always lead to the clearest understanding – buttholes and whatever – but i'll give Joe a wide berth if he really believes half of what he said from a snippet of an interview, of which he's done thousands with people from all walks of life and opinion.
It's so weird to me that it's become a thing that people are worried when they're alone with others. Funnily enough, Stanhope talks a bit about fear-mongering in a recent interview with ReasonTV.
When I'm alone in a room with a burly guy, nowhere in my mind do I think that he might do something to me. Unless he gives off a threatening vibe. In which case I would just leave. And probably still not worry much. Because IF he does something, he'll likely go to prison. Somebody's bound to know that I'm there, there'll be a trail of evidence, etc. Although, granted, in case of a Grindr date, depending on what happens, it might be tough to prove that it wasn't consensual. But I'd probably be prepared in that case. And STILL not be on edge. Because the vast majority of people just aren't violent psychos.
