Forty-five years ago I had just started to go out with my now wife. Not long prior to this, not joining any church, I had accepted Jesus. My wife also had her Christian beliefs. We were invited to participate in a Ouija Board session. They told us that the little glass-pointer had been dancing all over the place supposedly answering all sorts of questions. Both my wife and myself later shared with each other that we had said a silent prayer as we were beginning the session. The glass tumbler remained glued to the board and did not move at all. Our hosts were most surprised. The Lord answered our prayers and we never again approached it. Since then we have learned much and have avoided many other things. Though we've had challenges in our lives like everyone else, yet that connection with Jesus has always helped us face them.
Ouija boards work because of the ideomotor effect. If you blindfold the participants and flip the board it does not work. Superstition debunked…
I don’t understand why everyone seems to pronounce “Ouija” as “we-gee”? 🤷🏻♀️🤔
There’s clearly an “a” on the end of the word, and if you Google it and press the “pronounce word” button, it clearly states the word “Ouija” to sound like “we-ja”.
People I know had an "Ouigi board night" as a joke – they cursed their house with dark beings.
