Stipe is a great fighter and somehow beat DC who is a BEAST of a fighter.
However, the skill difference between heavyweights and other weights is huge. The 'depth of talent' is huge. Connor, Dillashaw, and guys like O malley (thus 'untested') not to mention goats like Kahbib and Mighty Mouse are so far above Ngannou and Lewis etc that it is almost another sport!
I would like to see Rose Nam as a heavyweight male (no homo). Cain Valasquez is one the closest we have seen to an MMA great (along with Fedor). Randy C was amazing but light. Brock L was late to the game and had a problem with his shitter or something.

Ngannou literally has nothing besides hit power. Which I guess could be all you need sometimes but his ground game is awful, his conditioning is awful and so is his boxing. Again, all he needs to do is land that right hit on your jaw and you’re done but that’s all he’s got.
