I really love how Joe bases his evaluation that Louis is a good guy on the fact that Louis is friendly to him in passing the one or two times a time a year that he has a brief encounter with him. I mean, I think Louis is a good guy myself—a great upstanding guy actually—but I feel that way because of the honesty he portrays on and offstage, the sympathy and understanding for other people and their perspectives that he shows, and his seeming concern for his role as a father in the lives of his daughters. Amongst others things.
But Joe be like, “Yeah, I can vouch for Louis’s inherent goodness on account of the smile, wink, and finger point he shot at me while shouting “Oh, hey! That’s Joe Rogan!!” from across the hall backstage right as he was exiting out the back door….Yep, he’s a real solid dude that Louis C.K.”
Also, I think Joe is a good guy at his core, too. He’s just a bit of a big dumb ape sometimes on some things.
Its crazy to me that this man is half of Dave Chappelle and no one knows it. He's one of the most influential comedians to ever live….but he's white lol. I mean i get it, him co-hosting Chappelle's Show probably wouldnt have worked.
