  1. Ronda made the smartest decision she could. She was the best female fighter in the game, and when she lost, she got out. As a woman, she had to make a choice between having a family or trying to get back to the top of her sport. If she would have continued in MMA, it’s very likely that she would have sustained more severe injuries that would have impacted her ability to be a mother some day. Women’s bodies are not as physically resilient as men’s when it comes to combat sports. Men can sustain more permanent physical damage and still be great fathers. Being a great mother for Ronda means carrying a baby to term, delivering the baby without problems (her low body fat would be problematic for pregnancy), nurse the baby and provide the 24/7 nurturing care that a mother is supposed to provide to a child. Doing that with TBA or permanent disability from an injury reduces a woman’s ability to be the best mother and wife that she can be. She made a ton of money as the champion & deserves to walk away with her legacy intact. History books are filled with stories of ex-champions that lost and them spent the rest of their lives chasing the dream of being back on top, and most of those stories end tragically. She moved to WWE and will probably further transition into more acting. At least she knows that her choice to leave MMA means she will be able to remember her children’s names when she is 40.

  2. Ronda defeat took a little bit of Joe, soul! I've lost so much respect for the man and stopped watching his podcast. It's not that he misjudges Ronda or her abilities, he made her out to be the biggest thing since sliced bread! I can't get over that, he endorses her boxing ability. How can you respect a man that say's Ronda's striking is on an elite level. Everything else is an opinion, but her striking Rogan should've pointed the lack of, not the world greatest and that she could beat men in her weight class along with Mayweather.
