I don't think it was just Ronda, but I've noticed that any MMA fighter that starts to drift towards outside ventures loses their edge. Ronda, McGregor, Rampage, Liddell, and many others. Heck, even in boxing. Look at Tyson. Look at Pacquiao.
Combat sports is not something that you can just "phone-in" because you are that good. You have to be 100% invested or you are going to the your eggs scrambled. Ronda was more hype than substance, but when she was 100% invested in the sport she was unbeatable. The second fight with Miesha Tate was a sign of the beginning of the end. She was so full of herself that she just KNEW she was going to make quick work of her just "because." She go drug into deep water and the blueprint was created for Holly Holm for take care of Ronda.
Nunes just beat the Deputy Dawg s**t out of here. That was just comeuppance for being so arrogant.
