I 100% support trans people as a community and their right to exist and be included but I agree, when it comes to sports there are clear advantages and disadvantages. Thats why in sports there are weight divisions and different divisions between men and women. And it goes both ways. The same way a transwoman has an advantage over cis women, a transman would be at a disadvantage against cis men. So the only truly fair and inclusive step to take would be to create separate divisions for transmen and transwomen so they can still be athletes after transitioning but on a fair playing field. Now, years ago its like you wouldn't think there'd even be enough trans people to build divisions around but nowadays there are more and more trans people coming out and I think now is the time, if not the near future, to set up separate divisions for them. And you know, theres gonna be those people who are like "I dont want to see that" but if you love sports/athletics and someone who is trans is doing cool stuff within their chosen sport, why not? Humans are capable of doing awesome things and I think that includes trans people and it's a shame that this has just become a perpetual battleground for left and right wing politics.
Hundred percent they need new categories for trans athletes. It's the only fair way.
