  1. I’ve been listening to Rhonda for years. She is obviously very passionate about what she does. She is so thorough in her research. She’s not afraid to say “I don’t know.” I really appreciate that she is across the latest studies to the best of her ability because she brings that summary to the wider population! Thank you both!!!!

  2. As a DVM, Rhonda, I’m a little annoyed at your comment, “ you can find a veterinarian to give you anything “, relative to antibiotic use in food animals. We are as a group, very responsible in “antibiotic stewardship”. Thank you.

  3. I’ve done ketogenic diet on/off for years. I measure blood ketones. Quite frankly, it’s not that hard, it just requires some discipline. Just sautee in good olive oil or avocado oil, greens, white onion, cabbage, radishes, turnips, broccoli, asparagus, some cauliflower, other low carb veg’s. Add some chicken, pork loin, beef, in palatable amounts. Flavor with salad dressing (no seed oils), vinegars, maybe a little mustard, to your flavor preference. Sometimes after sautee, add pastured beef broth to make a soup base. Eat some dark chocolate for treats. Have a little wild salmon once a week. I go in/ out of ketosis, to facilitate metabolic flexibility. Was “pre diabetic” with A1C of 5.9, normal body conformation, after doing alternating keto/low carb, dropped to 4.6. Again, it’s not that hard, and with this style of eating, you can eat to satiety, and achieve your goals.

  4. Omad… 14/10 protein/fat and carb under 25gr for a week then go to 16/8 protein/fat carb under 50gr for a couple weeks… achieving low to moderate Ketosis! Then back to 14/10… Crucial to get electrolytes and enough protein and FAT and less than 50gr carb… in ketosis for months now!
