Buzz Aldrin travelled the world with seminars telling people the moon landing was nothing more than one-upmanship to send a message to Russia (then the USSR) that America has superior technology / the problem however is that when NASA was asked why haven't we been back to the moon, their reply was "THE TECHNOLOGY HAD BEEN LOST". Give me a break! 1969 Technology??? I went to one of Buzz Aldrin's seminars in Sydney – the crowd was positively responsive to what he told us. He made it clear that they never went to the moon – it was a stunt to beat the USSR in the space race – in 1969 we had nothing – no lightweight materials not even aluminium – plastics were in their infancy and no way to return from the moon either – Aldrin always pointed to the photo of him where his face isn't seen at all in a frontal photograph that reflects only the bright luna landscape – His face would actually have been lit up by the bright sunlit landscape. It was a Hollywood production by Stanley Kubrick at Universal Studios.
