Its poor sporting to talk trash IMHO
I used to joke around when I was boxing and body building and I would flex my arm and ask someone "hey did you get tickets?", to a confused reply of "tickets, ….tickets to what? "…….."tickets to the gun show" its a cheesy old thing body builders would do , thats what I thought it about
Her comment was a Christian analogy. "Buying a ticket" is a very, very common term used to mean "have you given yourself to Christ". In other words, "have you paid for ticket to Heaven by being saved in the name of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ". That is why she also asked "Do you believe in him?" (God, Jesus).
