And on the other end of it we have thousands of rock solid reincarnation cases; like it or not something is going on in the great beyond
The brain through millennium of evolution holds the consciousness and contains it in our material world. As the brain starts to slip towards death (no heartbeat, oxygen or flatlined EKG) or with the use of psychedelics drugs that slow the brain from holding our consciousness, these experiences happen. That said, how do you see yourself on the operating table from above without having eyes, hear without ears, meet dead relatives (not living relatives, but dead ones), etc… during the NDE's? Can it be, that our consciousness exists without a body? Hence, we survive death.
