Frank Warholic is a real veteran. Look him up. There are news articles about him from 2014 and earlier. His name is real.

Frank Warholic is (or was) a real person. Here's his obituary:
MONTVILLE, NJ – Former VFW Post 5481 Commander Frank Warholic died on Nov. 19 at home, according to an obituary posted by the Keri funeral home. He was 88.
The Towaco resident served as commander of the post for 20 years. According to TAPinto Montville’s 2014 Spotlight on Warholic, he was born in Garfield, NJ on November 1, 1930 but eventually his family moved to Passaic, he attended Passaic High School, and played basketball for the Passaic Boys’ Club and the Holy Rosary Society.

The way crazy Trumpers act, those people in the commercial genuinely believe every word they said. I do believe it was made as satire, but I flat out refuse to believe any of the people endorsing it were in on the bit.
