  1. I lost my friend of 20+ years to meth drug use and gay sex partying. Died of hiv complications from drug use. Would never have expected him to go down like that 10 years ago. The memories of our friendship burn a whole in my heart. He became a shell of himself while all his “friends” helped him push himself even further down. And when his family and true friends tried to reach out, we were the bigoted ones who didn’t understand him. My own community is offing itself in front of our very eyes. I can never forgive the insane assholes on our side who are so blinded by trauma and anger that they would rather have others rot with them than get help.

  2. I'm an openly gay man that lives in Kentucky. I work for a construction company contracted with the University of Kentucky. So, I'm basically on this campus daily. I've had more liberals or left-wing persons disrespect me than I've ever had from the right or a rebublican base. The individuals I work with are mostly of a republican background and what some would say are "Manly Men". They've protected me in ways that are too many to list. They know who I am and respect me, even having protected me at times when verbally assualted. Even though they may have a different background in beliefs, these are the true republicans that stand by their fellow man/woman. I feel safer and acknowledged for my true self with these "Construction Workers" than with the fake social justice warriors. I can speak among them without having backlash of hate for my differences of opinions. Kentucky may be considered mostly a rural state, but I've found that most hate, racism, and harmful ideology, along with indoctrination tactics, come from the larger cities and universities/colleges. I'm happy to be living in Kentucky again. I've lived in LA to Cleveland OH from Manhattan NY, to Kissimmee FL and Dallas TX to New Orleans and many places between. You'll find the good and the bad in all these places. The thing is this, the bad extremes are publicized more than the majority of the good and friendliness of acceptance and curiosity from another. What most call "country people, rednecks, hillbillies", I've found more polite and less stand-offish as individuals. Allowing you to speak your mind. Instead of screaming, trying to validate their personal "emotion/feeling" in ideologies as most libreals, left-wing social justice warriors I've encountered. Most of the country people, rednecks, hillbillies, etc, that I've socialized with are more honest than fake, unlike the left-wing liberals. You don't feel belittled for your differences. It's more to do with curiosity. I'm a proud gay man who just happens to be a republican. Truth, I may not agree with all the politics within my own party, but it's the same with any of them. Only an "indoctrinated" fool would agree fully with any political party and not have some difference in opinion. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I wish only the best for everyone. Please and always research topics. Don't just take truths or statics from news/media or personal friend groups. Don't be afraid to have a personal opinion through knowledge and not through ideologies.
