  1. ok so everyone thinks their martial art is the best and the one to study…. and ill give you this 100%…. if youre on a soft mat, and its strictly 1v1 and you know that, then ya bjj is probably your best overall option. and it works great in mma because guess what, youre on a relatively soft canvas with just one guy and you know its just one guy….but let me ask you this bjj people… out in the real world are you really want to roll around on concrete or pavement? even if you win that tussle you will lose by scraping the shit out of yourself and the injuries that would come from wrestling on concrete. but most of all lets say you got him in a submission and your bjj worked horray right? well what do you do when his three friends start stomping your face in while youre on the ground trying to arm bar a guy? basically put you dont wanna roll on concrete id imagine and your entire martial art is hinged on there just being one person to deal with…lets be honest when outside of pro fights does this ever happen? never ever…. if you get him down his friends are going to come in and if they get pass your friends to you its so easy to just heel stomp your face or anything. essentially bjj is utterly worthless in a fight against any more than one person. good way to have someone come behind you and bounce your head off the pavement. I also dont know why people dont realize if you eye jab someone i dont care what their background is or what styles they know or how big they are they arent going to be able to see or move around very well for a good 5-10 minutes. after that i mean its pretty much good game. anyway just my thoughts, ive never once seen anyone use bjj in a street fight because putting yourself on the ground is like the last place you wanna be on the street against multiple people. without the 1on1 and the mats, outside of pro mma fighting, bjj just seems totally useless on a hard surface and if theres even just one more person u have to fight…you cant fight two people on the ground at once.it seems great for conditioning and working out and ring fights but for self defense, unless its one person, i dont see how bjj helps at all against 2 ppl …..
