I just want to counter the “well I didn’t do it, why do I have to suffer” part of the debate. I don’t have all the answers but I can counter this I believe. I, for one, have never even thought of taking weapons on a plane, not a bomb or a gun or a knife or anything. And yet, just like everyone else, when I go to the airport I HAVE to go through security/TSA. I’m not offended by this, I’m not cursing the government for their attempts to curb terrorism on the plane. I understand that for the greater hood we can’t always have what we want. Would I love to be able to bypass all that shit, to not have to remove my belt and shoes and let them rummage through my personal stuff? Absolutely, I don’t know who wouldn’t. But then again, if that process lets me or anyone else make it home safe to their family, I don’t see what the issue is🤷🏿♂️just my two cents.
