This video's 6yrs old! It's crazy how many people still believe he earned an Aikido blackbelt??!?
SS's a quiet, humble, guru for god sake. He won't talk about it out of fear of public outcry.
"Like if aliens appeared", he said. Then continued, "think about it, you've trained years of your life away, gave it all your heart,
only to learn in the end, there's a fucking belt higher than a blackbelt."
You can't train harder, because, SS's an Indigo-belt — sorry! SS's entering the next phase, Nirvana.
SS's third eye is open. SS's been through mental anguish. Stating, "Disharmony and suffering would be the outcomes
if blackbelts around the world learned the truth. Blackbelts are a mirage; people wear blackbelts going to work, even church".
Too long so….SS's philosophy goes like this. Throughout centuries; one, exceptionally rare man
is born. SS's our chosen-one. It's easy to fact check; SS was born in the 20th century. it's SS.
"Do not train for my belt", Seagal stated.
Adding, "to try, is purposefulness." Understanding SS's philosophy would take a doctorate, his mind's
even deeper than Arthur Schopenhauer's.
Think about it. A man nearing SS's talent won't arrive for, at least, two centuries – or more?

I am an aikido practitioner. The main problem in aikido is, you dont have any experience against someone who is resisting or someone who is planning to fight you for extended time because we dont spar. I think this is the main reason. We dont have any experience against someone who is trying to strike us down and generally the way they teach aikido is very ceremonic with no place for elasticity. Im lucky enough to have some experience against people so that is why i think this way. But aikido definitely needs other martial arts teachings to become very good.
