The only saving face is on the late night..
I just believe Jim Carrey fully exposed his bloated narcissism. He think he's a gift to the planet and has to remind everyone of that constantly. It's hard to listen to him talk about himself so much, he doesn't know how to be sincere anymore. Everything is so existential and "beautiful" to modern Carrey that it comes across like he's giving the credit to himself. The graduation speech he gave to the bullshit college, Maharishi International University, shows how full of himself he's become. Now I can't help but think that all of his crazy characters are an extension of his own dark ego, which is a good showcase of his delusion on display.
