So many logical fallacies here that it's nearly impossible to enumerate. Suffice it to say I'm glad Rogan has done enough homework since this podcast to realize how ridiculous these statements are.
Wow Joe really f'd up bad and showed his ignorance on the subject really badly here. Bad take, not a lot of nuances taken into account either.
No one is advocating “arming a bunch of teachers”
At the same time, any teacher, administrator, janitor, who is already trained in the use of arms, or is willing to be trained in the use of arms, and after proper qualification, would be permitted to carry a firearm and be a defender of that school. That makes perfect sense. I would much rather have my child be in a classroom with an armed teacher, who, if a crazed gunman came into her school her teacher could at least shoot back.
