The problem is the authoritarian left is now in control and in power and they view the libertarian left as right wing nut jobs now. Classical liberals have more in common now with the right then the left

I have to disagree with what the two are saying. The problem for me is NOT the blue haired students trying to suppress speech (which is awful), but rather MSN and google trying to supress speech and divide people in accordance with their race etc… That is much more scary and that is what turns me off from the left. Otherwise I am anti-war, pro-environment, pro high minimum wage …

The difference between the radical left and the far right is that the right doesnt try to control people's thought speech and behavior. The right doesnt have a smug elitist attitude that they're better and more brilliant than everyone else. The right doesnt obsess over identity groups the quest for cosmic social and labeling people. The left does.
