people don't understand the difference between ADHD symptoms and having the disorder
When I was a kid, people literally didn't know what ADHD. Kids being a kid in a classroom is NOT ADHD, but they thought it was. I mean theres common sense non ADHD normal reasons for that. And unfortunately NOW, people think kids being a kid in a classroom is all ADHD is, "just focus more" – well the thing is the solution is not so simple as a normal person dealing with being inattentive or hyperactive and sampling redirecting themselves. Nah, it's more complex for us. That being said, making excuses is always bad and you should make your best efforts and increase the capacity of your best, but everyone should be open to understanding and that is NOT making excuses.
You mean the doctors who get a kickback from prescriptions are over diagnosing? I am shocked
