Oh my goodness. About 2 1/2 hours in, deBecker references his home in Fiji and adopting 8 children, and off handedly says his 31 year old son died during Covid and that he's 'pissed' that lockdowns prevented him from getting the treatement he needed for Leukemia in another country. He's been through so much in his life…remembering the video he did where he talked about a trauma symptom from finding his mother when she died of a drug overdose–how it took decades to get to a place of healing and the symptom went away. My heart goes out to him.

I literally just finished reading his book “gift of fear” and decided to look him up. It was a great read. ❤ thank you Gavin for giving me the insight & ability to now verbalize my experience of my ex-boyfriend. It was a toxic relationship with a mentally unstable man who stalked and harassed me for months. I’m so grateful for your advise.
