At first I thought Joe was asking stupid questions to evoke interesting answers. Then I realized that Joe is way dumber than I first thought.
Orwell's epiphany occurred during his foray and participation on behalf of the Spanish workers during the Spanish Civil War. He realized the Left wasn't with the workers, but with the (Left) establishment. He took a bullet fighting for the workers, and after he was evacuated, realized his wound was ms-assigned. A big waste because the Left had another agenda all the time. They cared little for workers, and more about control. Read Christopher Hitchens on Orwell. Chris was a big fan. THEN, contrast this with Hemingway, who also fought for the Leftists in Spain. In the end it seemed he became a hero, but for personal recognition.. Orwell was the real bad ass. His life and work was shaped by his experience of the hypocrisy of the Left.
Philosophy: sophisticated bull shi))))
Blah blah blah…
