I'm actually shocked at how clearly Romero speaks. I guess, as an MMA fan, I am so used to seeing him struggle with English. While I speak Spanish, I've never come across any Spanish language interviews with him. I watch the news and entertainment from Spain, and occasionally from Mexico, so never came across anything with him. I am so used to accents from Spain, Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala at work, that I had it in my head for some reason, that I would struggle with Cuban Spanish, but I had zero problems understanding Yoel and Joey. WTH?
