Well, not as much as some others… Some people are sorely lacking in culture. The first question to ask would have been : what is the god Bacchus doing in the Last Supper ? First clue which would have allowed us to doubt a somewhat hasty interpretation. The second question : if it is the Last Supper, why are there seventeen instead of thirteen ? Second clue… And if we had searched a little, we would have understood that it was a reference to “the Feast of the Olympian Gods” (that makes sense with the Olympic games, don’t you think ? More than with Jesus in any case), a very widespread iconographic theme in the painting of the 16th and 17th centuries, and not of the Last Supper. The director himself explained what he wanted to do. So please, listen to him, rather than to some social media or Youtuber.
