You could use the same logic for immigration.
Most of those areas where built and occupied by whites. In the 60s-80s white people abounded those neighborhoods for the newer suburbs and all the minoritys floodied in buying the dirt cheap unwanted homes. Now the whites are back.
The flip side is increasing ghettofication caused by street vendors setting up shop. Much of greater Los Angeles is beginning to look like Tijuana.
If you look at the full report on those people protesting gentrification you will also see the racism and hate. Some are actually complaining about white people moving into their mexican/hispanic community. They say they are erasing their Hispanic culture and art work. Imagine if a prominently white neighborhood started protesting a new store or building that was going to bring in hispanic clients or renters how the media would be all over it as evidence of racisms in America? The reality is that many people in Hispanic neighborhoods in Los Angeles area are very racist and anti white and they rather keep living in crime ridden neighborhoods because to them its all about the "raza".
As a disclaimer, I am Hispanic and lived in California in an Hispanic community from birth to the age of 37 so I know what I saw and I know how people really are. I am glad I moved to raise my daughter in a better environment.
Joe Rogan Boyle heights was Mexico and it's one of the last places you guys haven't taken over let us keep it. And by the way White people speak with an accent also. The correct English is British English.
