I was Catholic, left when an adult with rational logical thinking but 40 yrs later I still fall back to the guilt and sin doctrine. So you can takeva gal out of the religion but you can't take all doctrine out of the gal. Thats why religion can be dangerous to affecting the development of individual thought.
I asked a black co-worker about "privilege". He quickly agreed that "white privilege" was a clear advantage in the USA. So I asked him three questions about an imaginary magic wand I had, he played along. The questions were: If I could use the wand to make you rich, give you "rich privilege", would you want that? He said yes. If I could make you prettier than you are, the handsomest man in the world, would you want that? He said sure. Finally I asked: If I could make you white, undeniably totally a white man, would you want that? Hell no! Was his response. We talked for several minutes after that about how, if white privilege was indeed a thing he'd have wanted to be white just as much as he wanted to be rich and pretty but he just kept disagreeing with me. So much for privilege eh?
So I know all this 'we don't do cancel culture' etc is Rogan's schtick, but Murray is a hideous idiot who constantly contradicts himself and basically just hates. Hopefully he stays in America – Britain doesn't want him.
