Wrong The conquistadors left blankets with smallpox on purpose with the Aztecs that is historical fact
Dude sounds like GsP
Seneca here. My issue is our current enrollment system. Theres over 500 recognized tribes in US and 98% of us only acknowledge half our people! Crazy. See our tribe enrolls the mother’s children only! So the Seneca father’s children are not considered “native” by law! Prior to 2005-06 pre casino they could own the property a land for 100 years or death if no successor. As well as hunting and fishing rights. The laws currently say “Seneca male or female”. But now it’s being interpreted as “enrolled Seneca”. Our females can have as many children as they want outta the tribe and their children have all the voting rights land rights so on. Majority of the people’s enforcing these practices are people who abandon us because they were ashamed of us. Of themselves. But have since come home to get their NDN check. As well as taken over our religion(longhouse” Gow:we;no”) now it’s a social club for enrollees. Were told actual native blood is considered “racism”. But these blonde hair blue eyed “full bloods” have taken over and pushed out real traditionalists who grew up here. So next time you feel away about us poor NDN’s remember what we do to our own people!!!
I love Joe but the small pox blanket is no joke.
I've always wondered why did the disease only go one way? Why didn't the settlers get diseases from the natives?
