A friend of mine dramatically slices up cucumbers on stage. It's kind of metamodern…ish.
One of the great things about the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton open mic scene is that comedians, musicians, poets and sketch performers all use the same venues, so you never know what you're going to see. (I once did an entire stand-up set made up of bad jokes that drunks in bars told me would be really funny to do on stage.)
