    Lobbying, Corruption and bribery. They are all the same.

    Voting doesn't matter. Democracy is an illusion.

  2. It should probably be that corporations can't give to campaigns or political committees. But, political committees are a type of corporation. They would also have to be prohibited from doing certain types of political advertising, but the details need to be worked out. They need to be free to advocate for themselves to the people.

    Citizens United for example was a political committee. It seemed very strange that people objected to that on the grounds that it was a corporation.

  3. A scenario to explain why its legal to lobby. If you go to a politican and say vote no on this bill and you get 2 million dollars, that bribery and its illegal. But if you go to a politican and said, hey i heard that your state need 2 million dollars to a fundraising to build a new school, i can fix that and then makes a comment on how they dont like that upcoming bill wink wink, thats lobbying and legal.
