It is corruption and it’s not banned because no one understands how deep it goes and they suppress the speech of those who do speak up. They don’t want you to know. This is why the American healthcare system is fucked, it’s why everything wrong with our country is wrong. LOBBYING. How has this been on YouTube for this long from THE JOE ROGAN and it has 1.1k likes and only 300 comments? Because it’s being removed from the algorithm. It’s why you can’t find any decent information about it on YouTube but it’s all over TikTok. It’s why they want to shut down TikTok. It’s also why healthcare has become an assembly line and doctors are forced to walk into a room and hand an rx to a patient and walk out in 5 minutes. It’s why if you look at the majority of medical practices now, they’re all owned by larger corporations because they’re the only ones with bargaining power against the insurance company and every corporation is now controlled by business majors. Doctors are the face of the healthcare systems but look at the number of corporations owned by doctors and run by doctors. I think physician run healthcare systems are actually illegal now. How does that make sense?!?! Because it was baked into some corrupt policy that the politicians voted in favor of despite complete lack of understanding as to what the consequences of this would be. ITS ALL CORRUPTION AND LOBBYING. Fix that and maybe things will get better.
Take away the anonymous donations, don't allow out-of-state donations for state elections, shorten the campaign season, fix congressional districting maps using mathematical algorithms so they aren't gerrymandered, make the number of constituents for each representative the same, set term limits, revise or eliminate the electoral college, and make election day a national holiday…
Until then, corruption will remain in US politics (and they'll probably still find a way regardless)
Hold on why corporate lobbying specifically? There’s plenty of wealthy special interests that aren’t corporations and it’s a problem when they do it too
