I think kids are getting less and less intelligent. Look at what your kids are watching and playing.
Smart phone.
After breakfast and my cup of tea,
I think of everything I’d like to be.
A list of things that I must do
Contemplating while I do my poo.
But first I need to check something,
The relaxing habit onto which I cling.
An ache in my finger to be ignored,
Overweight and feeling bored.
Where’s that phone that I must find?
The screen God that occupies my mind.
My window to an algorithmic world,
Infinite access to all the things I’m told.
Endless options to choose and pick,
The fruits of knowledge until I’m sick.
An Artificial sun lights up the face.
