I think Joe is great but he gets sort of vague and wooly in his thinking sometimes when it comes to politics. He gets stuck in this middle of the road bullshit a lot because he buys into the fallacy that moderation and "balance" is always good, when in fact it is much more likely that the Left is objectively "right" on some issues, whereas the Right is objectively "right" on others. Joe often complains about how polarized America is, but he underestimates how legitimate those divisions are. Joe complains about people dismissing each other due to partisan political reasons, but he is equally guilty of being dismissive towards people who take strong, staunch, ideological stances on particular issues (whether you think they are right or not). Basically, what I am saying is it is a fallacy to suggest that just because a person is partisan, they must lack credibility or be prone to hypocrisy (which Joe seems to believe is the case and I think he is mistaken). I really believe that Joe needs to study up on a lot of these topics, like he needs to sit down and read big fat general history books and books on economics, gun control, etc, then he will become not only more nuanced in his thinking and more knowledgeable, but he will also be able to TAKE SIDES more justifiably and give credit where credit is really due to both sides in a political debate. This "non-partisan" bullshit needs to stop; everybody is biased and you can clearly measure your own stances politically by taking a simple political quiz. Joe probably would come out something like 40 percent Democrat and 60 percent Republican. Joe clearly supports certain familiar Leftist stances like opposition to fundamentalist Christianity, support for Gay Marriage and abortion rights, and so on. These are not original "Joe Rogan" ideas. They are familiar sentiments and views which we have all heard millions of times.
Enough of these spoiled rich brat opportunists like David Hogg who keep blaming and punishing the wrong people with their ignorant teen outrage. Now they are sitting in grocery stores, taking away my freedom to go about my daily life, with their protests. They've got no right to express their teen manic outrage, by blocking my freedoms.
If David Hogg and his anti-Constitutional teen mob hoard really cared about safety and children's lives, they'd be outraged against the true perpetrators of mass murder and carnage: hypocritical ignorant dangerous teenagers in automobiles who kill and injure tens of thousands every year. Raise the driving age to 25, and enact mandatory 10 year prison sentences for teens who kill and inure others on the road.
