The biggest problem is the 2nd amendment itself purely because anyone can go bad due to circumstance you cannot fully take that away for everyone some people are just born bad, I can see why Americans are torn has it’s a fundamental part of there heritage but think you can’t fully test for everything for example.
1.upbringing
2.current circumstance I.e rejection maybe losing a child,abuse ,bullied
3. Born with wires scrambled some of these people can hide it very well.
4.ptsd in certain situation
5. Certain drugs
6 so many weapons out there just steal somone else’s
There is absolutely no way to screen for all of these effectively and many hun store owners wouldn’t go through the checks anyways.
I don’t see anything changing and sadly these events will continue to happen until one day a senator child is murdered in such a way.
Almost wrote Joe Rogan off due to other's outrage regarding 1 subject, w/o listening to him personally. After hearing him contemplate less controversial topics, I'm no longer focused on labeling him based on assumptions. He has some interesting points of view.
I say start arming our teachers and other administration inside the schools. Let our teachers have the ability to save our children while we are debating gun control!!
How about the bullies?
Without sounding like smug, know all brit I can say when I was young I'm sure there was kids at my school who could have gone on a rampage with a gun. The fact is he couldn't because he didn't have the means to do it (I.e a gun) I totally don't buy the theory of how it's somehow the parents fault because they didn't give little jimmy enough love and effection. The bottom line is if automatic weapons and guns in general weren't so readily available there wouldn't be so many shootings. Simples
