Conor is a unicorn
Of course the UFC and others are marketing to people who know nothing about fighting – it's exactly why and how they built up the McGregor-Mayweather thing into what it was: a huge event based on a mismatch that made no sense, even on paper. The people who know better, and who know fighting and run the show, need to act as if the DO know better and know fighting instead of just going for the cheap payday while saying that they're trying to build and support a legitimate sport. If "it made money" and "people want to see it" are the answers to everything, then doping and fixing fights are just a step away. All the people who built up McGregor-Mayweather either didn't know what they were talking about or didn't care what they were talking about… either way, you can't really trust them on the topic of fighting.
Its because the ufc is boring af now there is no great fighters anymore it’s all very average, they tried to make super fights to make it more appealing but then it got out of hand and it fucked up the rankings now it’s just s joke.
Conor Mcgregor is bigger than the UFC. and UFC is known because of mcgregor
Connor ruined mma now for casual fans for money
