It’s a Jewish practice and it seems America is heavily influenced by Jewish culture.

The brother of the guy founded Kellog cereal popularized circumcision in the U.S. he knew it decreased sensitivity and advocated for it as a way to curb masturbation and all sexual activity which considered the root cause of many maladies (physical, mental, and spiritual). His other selling point which has been debunked many times was that easier to keep clean that way too. He was also a staunch eugenicist having been the founder of the “Race Betterment Foundation” to which he bequeathed his entire estate.

I feel anger, betrayal, and a profound sense of loss. You made a decision for me that I will never be able to undo, and I am left to live with the consequences every single day.
I am angry that you chose to prioritize tradition over my well-being. I am angry that you took away my right to make decisions about my own body. You had no right to do that. Good intentions do not erase the harm that has been done.
I need you to acknowledge the pain and damage your decision has caused. This is not something I can simply move past or forgive. The impact of your actions will stay with me for the rest of my life.
We need to have a serious conversation about this. I need you to recognize the harm that has been done and to commit to ensuring that this does not happen to others in our family. This practice must end, and it starts with us confronting its true impact.
I don't expect this conversation to be easy, but it is necessary. I cannot continue to pretend that everything is fine when it is not. I hope you can face this issue with the seriousness it deserves and support me as I continue to cope with the consequences of your actions.
