This reminds me of my buddy in 2019-2021. I got him a good salary job at my company and introduced him to my friend group. I kept having these conversations with him about mentality until he killed himself in Feb 2021. He was mentally sick, but this victim mentality is 100% a reason why he kept spiraling lower and lower. Victim mentality can literally kill you.
