The free college solution isn’t so simple. The people being educated are the one’s who receive direct benefit and ought to be the one footing the bill. Like with any commodity, if you make it free, the demand for that good will skyrocket and the number of college students today cannot be used to make an estimate of the costs via government spending. If people are truly economic about it, the costs of a college education are manageable, which often means attending college close to where you are born. Just because it is made free does not mean the costs disappear.

I'm for free collage all the way but I do recognize the Importance of a trade so if they do set up a free collage system they must rework the collage curriculum and replace the major/minor system with a major/trade system so graduates have something to fall back on.
