2:55 in. A salmon has no concept of time. Nor a reason for occupied self position in a space in time. However they migrate 2 spawn and breed. Upstream. Would that be a q for time. Like does a salmon know it is a salmon and that humans exist? Bk we as animal humans know of salmon

Time is a construction it is a mental tool to measure phenomenon and without a relative observer it can not exist and is language dependent meaning it is symbolic in nature and represents something beyond it self for instance money cannot exist soley based on a physical object but based on the functions that have been collectively bounded on it it is symbolic in nature. With that said to a large extent how humans view existence is dependent on the intention we put on things a social fact does not exist based on intrinsic nature but on what is collectively agreed upon. Meaning reality is based on a phenomenon but based on how that phenomenon is determined becomes reality it is a human construction and at a biological level it only exist with certain conditions met.
"Doesn't (mean) anything, right?" The word "mean" is key there, it does mean something, but in what framework or system are we employing it, fallacies of equivocation galore when using natural language
