GENSPEC has written an “open letter” signed by thousands including leading health professional making it clear the professional associations are lying, misleading and failing society. It is there implied authority that courts rely on to "protect" the butchers that masquerade as doctors.
It's one thing to pursue a healthcare intervention not knowing whether it’s effective (i.e., lobotomy or drugs like Fen-Phen and thalidomide); it’s quite another to persist with a pathway with no solid evidence to support it OR when there are clear adverse effects. When there’s been several rigorous systematic reviews of the evidence and the bottom line is ‘we don’t know” then anybody who then claims they do know is not just failing to be an evidence based professional, they are being ideologically driven, lying and worthy of prosecution. The professional institutions supporting interventions for minors have a higher bar to adhere to and this should ensure we have the highest quality of evidence to guide standards and protocols, especially before proposing pathways which ultimately conclude with surgery. What is reprehensible is a set of standards proposed by WPATH which suggests “an emerging evidence base”. This is euphemism for experimenting on children and transgender billionaires keep them propped up.

If what's benefitial to society it's couples procreating, or taking care of children, having a family, couldn't a solution be allowing anyone to get married and giving the benefits it entails only to those couples that either procreate or adopt children, depending on their sexuality?
If there are people that marries only because they want to solidify that bond, but doesn't contribute to society, either by adopting or procreating, shouldn't it be enough just for that bond to be recognized instead of getting those benefits?
Its interesting how Matt is very logical when it comes to pretty much everything except when it comes to magical cloud man who somehow micromanages all our lives.
